Rules:

This painting contest is open to any artist who works in our accepted mediums.

This online art contest is for paintings, digital works, fine art photography, mixed media and sculpture.

Artworks may be created with physical or digital media
(Just be sure it's an original - if digital - painting on an ipad counts, mixed media or enhanced photography counts. Photos with simple filters applied don't)

Artworks may not be generated by AI
(Such as DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc)

Entries are free - but only the FIRST entry per week will be considered so please enter only one entry per week.

You may enter artworks that have won art contest awards in other shows

It's OK to enter artworks that have already been sold

You may submit the same artwork in different weeks.
(Exception, see next item)

If your artwork wins an award in our artwork contest, it will not be eligible to win in subsequent contests.

There is no size restriction.

No restriction on subject matter, just keep it clean please.

You may upload whatever image size you are comfortable sharing

BoldBrush’s Team will jury the winners each week.

Artworks will be judged on the following criterion: Drawing, Values, Edges, Composition, Color, Paint Manipulation (Brushwork), and subject matter selection

Your artwork must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else's copyrighted material
(If your image infringes upon another's copyright it will be disqualified)

You may only submit your own artworks that you, personally created.
(we reserve the right to demand proof that is your original artwork created solely by you....if it's not then your entry will be disqualified....and other bad stuff will happen [ominous music here])

Make sure that your artwork is signed and that the signature is visible in the image you upload
(This helps us with verification - see previous rule)

Each artist is allowed to win only one art contest award each week.

You will not have to provide the artwork physically, so you don't worry about having to ship it.

Artworks may be submitted until midnight, central time each Sunday
(No artworks will be accepted past the deadline, but hey if you miss it, there's always next week!)

All submissions must be made through Musero, email submissions and/or physical submission can't be accepted.

The decision of the jury and the judge is final.

By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork
(on our websites, newsletters, and social media accounts and those of our promotional partners ...with credit and links to you, of course).

Must be 18 or older, to be eligible for awards.

All cash awards will be paid via Paypal.
(This means that if you win, you'll need a Paypal account and will be responsible for any fees Paypal charges on receiving money. If you cannot accept Paypal, the only alternative we can offer is credit toward FASO website hosting fees. You must provide your Paypal account within 90 days of winning or your award will be forfeited. We will notify you of your award by email, but are not responsible if it does not arrive or you do not see it. It is your responsibility to check the contest website to see if you've won an award.)

By entering the competition, you agree to abide by all rules.

Competition begins each week at Monday, 12:01 CST and ends each week on Sunday, 11:59 CST

Awards winners will be announced via an email to Musero members and within Musero in your main feed.

You may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of “Liking” your own contest entry post. Doing so will cause you to be disqualified.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW

We believe in respecting fellow artists and one another's artworks - therefore, You may not criticize, make derogatory or otherwise inappropriate comments anywhere on Musero or in any other public forum about any other artist or in the Musero contest (or his/her works). Doing so will result in disqualification of your art from the contest, along with termination of your Musero account.
